6 disc changer standard on SS?

Is just a single CD player standard on the SS or a 6 or 12 disc changer? I'm just happy with the digital accessory jack and the USB port availability! With the USB, will there be a hard drive?

Probably not. It sound like you want to use your laptop in the car. On every car I've seen the USB port is a host port, so the car is "the computer" and the USB drive you insert is "the hard drive."

This costs less (8G flash drives are under $20) and lets people with desktop computers play.

No hard drive has been announced (like in the CTS), but you never know.

I'm not sure about the changer.

I'd be content with no CD player at all. With an USB and Aux. Jack there's no real need for a CD player.

BINGO! This is what I've been saying. No more CD's. Get rid of them all and just use a memory stick or Ipod.

You can either connect an MP3 player (I'm assuming), an external hard drive (which would give massive amounts of space, but you'd most likely need a power source), or one of those thumb drives with mp3's on them.

You just plug it in and the radio will allow you to navigate/play the mp3's.

Has there been confirmation that the Camaro will be able to read ACC (m4a) iTunes format?

It won't, Its been confirmed that the USB slot only looks for MP3 files, and when you burn itunes songs to cd it gets converted anyway.

Best bet is to just use your Ipod through the aux jack.

I am more than happy with a USB port, it allows you to buy your own media (see picture below) and rotate songs as you want without having to deal with any encoding/drm cr@p. AND if it gets stolen... its 10 bucks and reload it with your songs from your computer... much better than having to replace your ipod at 200+ a pop...

Just get this for $10 off newegg and it will hold more than you can listen to on a week road trip... (Link to drive...)

I thought the iPod uses AAC (m4a), but I can understand that it would use mp3 considering that so many devices use that format.
