Go for the deal or order?

Ok,here is my dilema. Tomorrow morning at 8 AM we are going to the dealer to purchase a CGM 1LT. Here is the thing. The dealer took $500.00 off the MSRP to get me to buy this one but it is'nt really the color I want. Would prefer the yellow over gray. We can't find a yellow one with a manual trans,RS,and polished wheels within 200 miles so I would have to order one out. So,if it were you,go for the what I feel is a very fair price and live with the color or forgo the so called "deal" and order? I value everyones opinions. Thank you!

Get the color you really want, or you will always regret it. My 2cents.

Yea I ordered the car just for that reason. You need to get the car you want. Otherwise it will be regret-city afterwards.

In essence it sounds like for $500 more you can get exactly what you want, so I would say order it. Also, I see you're in Wisconsin so I assume you'll be limiting how much road time it will see until nicer weather. So you may not be gaining a lot by buying now, as you may just to end up parking it for the winter.

get what you want or you'll always think about the colour that got away..

the downside of ordering is waiting the 3 months
but you'll appreciate it in the end..

Is that $500.00 from the 60 day op out or is that MSRP - $500 - $500(60 day opt out)?
If not including the 60 day opt out then you would be actually losing $1000 by ordering. Also by buying before the end of the year 100% of the sales tax you pay can be written of for your income tax, so figure atleast another $1500 - $2000 tax credit that you will be losing as well. So all in all you losing out at around $3000 dollars. And most MSRP's will probably be adjusted for inflation come January so probaby another 300-400 dollar increase.

I'd take the deal. Color is really never a big thing imho.

$500.00 is nothing compared to the cost of the car you have to look at it and drive it for the next however many years.I purchased my car in feb of 2009 car was delivered in june not to me but to callaway i should have it by the end of feb so thats my story. I got what i wanted and when i finally get it it will be the Bomb!!!!!!!!!!! Get what you really want

I wouldn't take the deal. Get the car you really want. Look on here for a yellow one. Might have one for a better price.

i would order the one you want...you'd regret it at some point if u dont..the wait sucks, but it will be well worth it in the end, and the anticipation will make it that much of a greater moment when you do get it

as someone with personal experience on your dilemma I say get what you want.

I didn't get what I wanted and took a "deal" for a dealer lot car and now I am taking a bit a of a hit to get what I want.
