Installed my CARB legal ARH shorties and Solo high flow cats....definitely makes a difference in sound and lil kick in the pants! Took about 6 hours...got stuck when needing to align the exhaust with the new cats...I had the SW Retro exhaust Tack welded to hold it solid...knocked a couple of tacks off and got it to clear everything.

I use Lifter1 bug and tar remover and a microfiber cloth. Soray it on in the shade let it sit for a few minutes to soften up the bugs and wipe off then polish... Been doing it for 6 1/2 years (2010 & 2012 Camaros) with no ill effects.

No, just some carbon fiber accents inside the cabin. The cockpit needs little touches to makeup for GM's lack of niceties that a 2SS/RS SHOULD have had from the beginning.

Engine bay is up next! Powder coat the sway bar, get strut covers, and I haven't decided what to do with the engine cover and fluid caps yet.

BUT I NEED MORE MONEY!!!!

Bringing some pain to the swirlies.

Trying out my new buffer/polisher and some Meguires polish. First time for the Strawberry after four years of ownership. Stopped for lunch but so far its looking like an 75% improvement after the first pass. Boy, is that paint soft.

Got up early to 'debug' my car this morning after a few trips North & South the last couple of weeks; it was raining, so I waited about 30 minutes and it stopped. By the time I finished washing and drying it and started 'dressing' the tires, the temps were already into triple digits (outside & in my garage). As I was contemplating whether or not to put off detailing while doing the tires, I glance down the side of the car and noticed that, besides being spot/streak free, there was a crystal clear reflection. Here's a couple of things that impressed me about it:

-- It's a DD
-- Last time waxed/polished - January 2016
-- Last time detail spray used - 3 weeks ago (none used today)
-- Has made 3 160 mile round trips to Vegas since last detailing (one in the rain) and two 80 mile round trips to St George, UT.

I know there are a lot of great products out there and other's have had as good if not better results then I have; but for me, I'll pay the little extra and stay with Zaino, especially on black cars. Not only does it give me a great, deep mirror-like shine, it lasts ...

I washed and waxed it!

And I found rust bubbles coming through my driver's side rear wheel opening arch!

Hooray for me!
