I am in love with the new Camaro as much as the rest of you but come on, guys.

That's not a great sounding exhaust. Not by a long shot.

Apparently none of you have heard a narrow angle VW VR6 or an Audi S4.

I'd be happy to post a vid of my old GTI.

I'm proud to say, that next month our vehicles go into production!!! Ahhh that feels good to say, even though it'll probably be sometime in April before i get it. lol As long as i know there's a good chance i could see a production model at the next car show that will hold me over. Dang on it that car sounds good.

I don't think most people are comparing it to Euro tuner cars, I think we are mostly comparing it to how MOST American V6 cars sound. And compared to just about any V6 to ever come from the Big-3, the DI sound like sweet music. The fun part is that there is even conversation to compare it to the refined exhaust notes of Euro cars.

Just my take on the whole thing.

We then evaluate the vehicle and submit any concerns to be addressed prior to the cars going to the customer. It is essentially an early look at the first production cars before they can be shipped to dealers. But CTF is only GM employees from engineering, marketing, quality, manufacturing, etc. Not dealers.
Thanks for your reply. now i have a better understanding. Chevy Jim

I wish we could get that good of audio with the V8, that V6 sounds so damn amazing. The V8 is still the way to go but the V6 brings no shame what so ever to the camaro name.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Seriously? It's youtube. Can you watch videos from www.youtube.com ? The only thing you need is Adobe Flash for it to work. It really can't get much more simple.

twin turboV6 would blow the LS3 out of the water and probably cost the same amount in the end and handel much better.
