First Retail Production Camaro Z/28 Raises $500k at Barrett Jackson
Correction: Chevrolet dealer David Flynn was the winner of the first retail production Camaro Z/28 at Barrett Jackson.
The winning bid of $500,000 will go to charity for Drive to End Hunger, with which Team Hendrick is involved. |

RICK DID NOT WIN THE Z28 IT WAS THE GUY STANDING TO THE FAR LEFT OF HIM.. rick is part of the charity,and that is why he is Holding the check.....it was bidder #466....
But either way the money goes to a good cause....There is no way in heck that Z28 will ever sell on the open market for that price again,it might of been worth 100k-125k at most. I am guessing those rich guys have figured out a way to record it as a loss and can write of the difference between what it is really worth and what they paid....
