Here is what you need to do, I fixed all of my DENALI'S Guages with the help of this guy, if you can e-mail him. acecore@charter.net

P.S. there called Stepper motors, If you buy a new instrument panel you will need to take it to get programed, The motor is not a lot of cash.

Thanks for naming the motor. Now I know what to ask for. I'm going to go to the dealership tomorrow after the lady calls and lets me know if they have them and buy one. If it's more than 50 bucks then I'll look elsewhere. I heard some of them cost 10 bucks

Okay so I was driving today due to work and the tach needle was at 0 where I set it at when I installed it. It stayed like that all day till I notice it move up a little when I decided to hit some where around 6000 rpm, but after that initial movement it actually moved down passed zero and rested on the black thing that covers the gas needle and never moved again.

So does that mean the motor does function? I hit 6-7k again and it didn't move like it did before.

Also a new cluster from Lonestar Chevy will cost upwards $270. I might end up doing it just to get the motors and I also noticed I'll need to rig two plcc-2's together for each light for the screen to be bright enough, as orange isn't cutting it so instead of 5, it'll be 10 in pairs of two.

When I get the lights in Ill be taking off my cluster one more time to see if I can fix the tach when installing the new lights.

Sweet! I wasn't sure you could do just the rings and leave everything else alone. Did you just change the 4 outer most LEDs on each side?

My husband wants to change his rings to red and the numbers to white.

Yea, it was just the outer ones I changed. It was a lot easier then I though it would be except for getting the needles off.

You should switch the screen to white or red, get rid of that ugly teal...

This is a very cool mod. You said you sent yours off to be done.....Did you send the whole unit or just the circuit board? What did it run you to have it done?

One question was the center screen green stock or was there a way to change that to green?
