For a 2010 with everything, $1899.00 before shipping.

$1,899 seems like a lot of money to send to a company I have never heard of. I would love to hear from someone who has purchased the Autospa unit and can give a review.

No one had bought their kit yet as far as I know.

even still I know that Ofer will not release his version until it is perfect. And will help if any bugs..

So at even a lower price.. I will wait for Ofer..

Thanks again for all the hard work and frustration..

I don't know if this is too early to ask but I'll try anyways.

I have a 1lt/rs but it didn't come with the C and C package thus I have to add the PDIM and Steering Wheel Controls myself. (Not to mention if I want blutooth phone capabilities I need to get a new on-star box)

Reading here sounds like I need a new onstar box anyways so I think I'll skip that currently as it will get replaced again anyways.

Well on to my questions. If I plan on installing MyLink should I still do the steering wheel controls/pdim upgrade? and if so could I skip the part where they have to be programmed (leaving them inactive) seeing as the MyLink has to be custom programmed?

For the PDIM the dealer reprograms the BCM. The programming that the MyLink needs is completely separate from the BCM reprogramming that the dealer would do for the steering wheel controls.

here is the email from auto spa..
so this tells me that it can be done..

Kevin,

Great news as we have been able to successfully retrofit the 2013 Factory Camaro navigation system to fit the 2010-2012 Chevy Camaro model years. You would essentially be getting 2013 technology in your vehicle, which would not only add factory navigation but all of the MyLink features (phonebook downloading, voice recognition, Bluetooth streaming audio, Stitcher/Pandora, turn by turn instruction muting drivers side speaker, and more).

Check out our page and YouTube video at: http://autospatech.com/navi/chevrolet/chevrolet-camaro-mylink-factory-navigation.html

You would be looking at $1,899.00 plus shipping (for the extra parts required for the 2010-2012 Chevrolet Camaro). That's the actual 2013 GM navigation system in your vehicle, and not any type of aftermarket system. That includes a new 2013 radio with navigation, control panel with hard button activation for navigation, along with everything else described below. You will retain ALL of your factory features, with the exception of the lock/unlock feature located on your existing console. Since you would be replacing that with the new 2013 system, the 2013’s don’t come with the feature on those vehicles.

You can also look at upgrading to just the MyLink system, but the navigation would not be included. We could sell you that system for $1,599.00 plus shipping, or we have a takeout version available for $1299.00 . So you have a couple options here on which way to go, but there is some wiring involved in making the conversion.

Our systems come complete with everything you'll need for the installation; including all harnessing, GPS antenna, instructions, installation video, and tech support for troubleshooting purposes only. Tech support is not designed to walk someone through an entire installation. We do require the VIN# prior to shipping so the system will be all ready to install into your vehicle (no additional dealer programming will be needed).

If that fits into your price range, please contact us with your VIN# so we can review everything that is involved with the factory system upgrade.

Sincerely,

It is something to think about. Doesn't look like a backup camera is included with the Autospatech.com setup. I see that DWAlex has it on his.

Mine is one of the last 2010's made without backup sensors, so I could benefit from the backup cam.

So basically for the lock/unlock you would have to buy the 2012+ door panels and have Ofer (or someone else) do the wiring to get that to work.

Also noticed that they ask for your VIN so they can "review" everything needed in upgrading. Makes me wonder what they're up to as he said earlier in the email that they're kit has everything you need to upgrade.

Still don't know what "hard button activation for navigation" means

Thanks, I was hoping to hear otherwise because the closest dealer/service centre I've been to couldn't spell "Camaro" correctly and knowledge on everything I've tried to ask I seem to get the run around. I'll just have to try my luck at other local dealers thankfully I have a decent selection.

Looks like the head unit that was shipped out to GTprix (if you dont know who he is look up whiteautoandmedia ) will be here friday, if all goes good we will do a install next week and post it here and on gen5diy, then will have them for sale with price and time frame for shipping, why time frame? all head units will need to get programed.

Great News. I'm hoping my finances we allow me to get in the first batch but if not just knowing it will be available is satisfying enough.

Sweet! Will you let us know what features he's unlocked too?
