Looks like we can narrow the color down by process of elimination.

Next guess: Was it Bumblebee yellow?

What about RS covers like from 1st gen?

And what was is so bad about Hugger Orange??

I also thought of another question, well more like a request if the engineers didnt think of it yet. Since the factory radio most likely can not be replaced by an aftermarket, and an aftermarket wont look right, will there be a usb port for mp3 play back or even better an SD slot? Either one of these or even both would be great for those of us who have loads of songs.

Thanks for everything fbodfather.

I second this.... it would be awesome if something like this was in there.

I'm confused... are you saying that the production headlights will be similar to the current style Corvette headlights?

Superb materials

At 6'7" Chris, I want to thank you for posting this.

I plan on ordering my Camaro sight-unseen, and that was somewhat of a concern, but no more.

If you go back a page or so, you'll see a post that says something to the effect of:

If you drove the V6 Camaro around the track and didn't know the engine size, you would have guessed it to be a V8.

EDIT: Here it is...

My impression is that anybody driving the V6 for the 1st time would think there was a V8 under the hood if they didn't know otherwise

If I was going to guess, and that's pretty much all we do here

I'd guess they are saying the V6 felt as strong as some conventional V8's, and the V8 -they were not disappointed = mega thrust.

I 'd love to be able to play MP3z in the car, no matter how that is achieved from the factory (the CD player to recognise CDz and DVDz with folders and MP3z in them, have a USB port, have an iPod dock or whatever).

Although I was planning to get a small form factor PC in the back of my current car and a nice motorized touchscreen for the dash, I 'm not doing that if it spoils the looks of the Camaro.

But, in the end of the day, I only wanna play tons of MP3z without having to change CDz and the like, and that can be "easily" done by having an iPod with that nifty addon that makes the iPod broadcast in a user-given FM frequency - a frequency received by the car's radio ^^ Pretty easy.

I think the intent of the post was something along the lines of "since hideaways were eliminated on the C6 (because of weight and the cost of warranty claims), then it's pretty much a given they would not be on the Camaro."

Bewt regardSS,

The other aspect is based on my own personal wants - no big deal. For example, a couple of weeks ago, I bought 2 stackable sun loungers and brought them home in my 4th Gen. Just lift up the hatch, fold down the rear seat and toss 'em in - no sweat! I couldn't do that with this car because it's not a hatch... so for me, a little versatility is lost.
The good news is that this car is designed to elicit an emotional response - and from where I sit, the car is extremely successful in this regard! It achieves this as a result of its design and how it looks. If versatility is a big factor for me, then I should look at a 4 door sedan or a truck. Thankfully, it's not, and I'll go for the car that tugs on my heartstrings and be prepared to sacrifice in a couple of areas that are not as high up on my priority list!

Best regardSS,

Elie
Awesome info, thanks for the reply.
