I got a built LQ4.. should be able to drop 400-450whp to the tires ready for a hood to go under (in a few weeks maybe..)
But the v6-->v8 conversion aint pretty in these cars.

That stack of tires in the background are factory snowflake 16s that SHOULD have come on this car. Those ugly black rims are steel and they're scuffed up pretty bad.

Looks easy, but how difficult is it to take a valve cover off???? Wanna maybe check to see if anything is loose with my ticking going on!

Will I have to get a new gasket is my main thing!?????!!!

How many miles on them? since the cam went in?

I'll take $700 for it.

(no really.. The title is on it's way from the DMV.)

I started it up yesterday. I WAS gonna pull it around and pull that bumper off, maybe get to priming it but.. It was already 6:30 and the c5 gets the garage so.. maybe this weekend.

I'm just not sure what's wrong with this engine. Maybe it IS a rod bearing, but if it is.. that's a pretty tough bird to run for so long and put up with me refreshing my memory of clutches. I've stalled it probably a dozen times since I got it. It doesn't leave the yard unfortunately, no emissions so no tag.
