Their is only 21 2014 CAMARO Z/28 left sitting on dealers across the country. Everyone thinks that there is a lot sitting around, that is not true.

No offense, but I am curious where you saw that statistic. Just trying to find better ways to search for them.

While looking for a 1SS, 1LE in California, I saw more than dozen in CA.
I was surprised there were that many 2014s for sale in the state.

Best Regards,
John

21 2014 z/28 not sold

I was at dealer trying to find another z/28 and they did a search across the whole united states and came up with only 21 unsold 2014 z/28. Go to your local chevy dealer and they can show you.

Thanks!

P.S. Autotrader is showing 130 2014s nationwide today. 20 of them in CA. Most asking at or near MSRP.
Also, 61 2015s nationwide. Average $77K. 15s arriving rapidly now. Looks like most 14s delivered.

As mentioned above, for 2014s, High $100K (1) in San Jose, CA. Low $67K (1)in Miami. Average of the 130 listed is $77K. I suspect the 2014s are gonna be in free fall soon, as more 2015s ship. Dealer flooring will eventually start to eat profit. But of course, there's a lot of profit in a Z/28.

Wonder if the southern states still take Confederate money?
Blue light special in Miami, shoppers! Wonder if that's the one that slipped off the truck?

On one hand you keep saying your car is being built in fall then you say you are happy the prices are falling.

I'm sure if you wait long enough you can see 40s ,if you wait a bit longer 30s.

Not really, i never use the A/C. Love riding around with windows down and radio up. Guess its from not having AC in my truck before I got the car

Are you talking about my comment on the hellcat in another thread? if so the dealer did a 180 on price and I told him to take a leap wont pay over MSRP for any car especially for a dodge.

On the Z28 it is a means to an end. I want fender flares on my car. If that means I need to buy a car to get them so be it. Just wont buy it new and especially at 75K needs to be in 50K or less so I can recoup cost. So the lower the cost the better... And yeah I know a number of you think I am nuts for my idea but i bet if i get in a number of the flow ties off the vin number I will have buyers lined up.

That sounds more accurate, to me than the inventory numbers quoted for Cars.com or Autotrader. The listing websites are notorious for listing cars they don't have, which is infuriating but just a reflection of the way most dealers do business...

I've just spent some time checking AutoTrader against the dealers sites and the Chevy site for Z/28s in San Diego and Los Angeles. The AutoTrader site seems accurate locally except for 2015s, where I found about two dozen on the dealers' sites listed as on the ground with pictures that looked fresh; that were not yet listed on AutoTrader.

I agree that some dealers seem to list orders in transit as "in stock" now and again...and then there's the odd "human" in the loop to mess things up.

Update on my post above about the high asking prices. Las Vegas (Henderson) and Phoenix (Gateway) seem to be catching that "let's see who will pay $100K" virus that's going around. Maybe just to get attention. Most of the reasonable dealers are sticking to MSRP or a little under. Lot of fresh (by VIN) 2015s popping up everywhere. Which might mean supply is catching up with demand.

Good hunting, bargain shoppers!

Every dealer in town here has at least 1 on the show room floor. So unless CA has 15 and AZ has the other 6-7 then there are more than 21 out there for sale.

I just ate a donut. It was amazing.

What makes me laugh is the local jackass dealer has one listed for $86k MSRP with $4k off, other dealer has the same car in white for $76k MSRP with $4150 off. The jackass dealer must be adding $10k to the MSRP. What a bunch of idiots.
