The ZL1 has a dual-disc clutch in place of the single disc on the LS3 cars. It will handle more power and with the amount of time GM has spent developing this car hopefully it won't have any problems.

I'd say the base cars (i.e. not ZL1) will probably get:

-Corporate coolaid steering wheel (rated #1 by_your grandmother)
-Electric door lock buttons on the doors in addition to central locking
-Passenger seat will be adjustable - my guess will be manual 6-way.
-NO dash insert for cars less than ZL1

If a power or manual passenger seat is introduced for the 2012 model year, would it be possible to retrofit it to the 2011 model?

Oh, and a different bezel around the center HVAC vents. Minor changes. I personally like the simplicity of the current 2010-2011 models, not to mention the current steering wheel.
I'm with ya! Glad I got my 2010!!

I like the Rims and the power. The rest I can do without. I'd rather do my own thing. I got a cruze rental car and that is the exact steering wheel . I'm still shocked they would put such a horrible steering wheel.

yes there will be a 6 way power seat starting mid year (2011) you can go buy a seat and put it on your car, some mild wiring might be needed.

(this was the response from the camaro engineer at the Q&A at the chicago autoshow yesterday.)

I noticed those new lock switches too. It is another fine example of GM listening to all the idiots out there.
Many people could not figure out that in order to unlock the doors, all you had to do was pull the door handle twice.

I highly doubt you'll be able to buy a seat. Can't buy any GM seats today. You can buy seat parts. If you bought all those parts you could assemble a seat.

When I was a tech, we had a Caddy towed in once that had it's front seats stolen. We had to order every single part and build 2 seats. End bill to the insurance company was $$$$$.

I don't see a retrofit to a power seat being anything cheap or easy.
