Remote starter question
Can anyone tell me what's the deal with the air conditioner when I use the remote start. I leave it on when cut the car off, but when I start it with the remote starter the air conditioner is not on. I have to cut it on.

It should be on whatever setting you left it on when you turned it off. Sounds like a trip to the dealer - you get what you pay for ($5 scratch off)!

Seriously, sometimes I think the same thing but I am not sure if it is my memory going at my old age or if it doesn't work. I always try to make sure I leave it on, I crank it before I go out and it isnt on but then I fight with myself.. Well I didn't leave it on! But I thought I remembered? I left it on! No I didn't.. (this is a scene from an actual conversation with myself) |

Mine comes on w/ the remote start. The buttons are not lit until I actually turn the key though.

So you really cannot cool the car off untill you get in it.

I never turn my air off until Jan. mine comes on with the remote start but like the OP said none of the lights are on until you turn the key. But it does cool it off.
