Pulled the fuses and no difference so maybe the dealer actually used premium. However I did throw a code. I didn't make any mistakes like wrong locations so I guess I need to find out what it is. Anyone else got a code?

Engine light turned off the next day. Not worrying about it.

Might be a dumb question, but does anyone know if there is a way to know which spark table the ECM is using? Is there a PID or parameter that gets set that can be read via OBD2?

I ask this since I have a OBD2 Bluetooth and Torque Pro and would like to actually see what I am using. I don't think watching the Knock Retard count would be beneficial since the ECM could be using the lower Octane spark table with a zero count in the KR value.

Any ideas what parameter gets set to tell the ECM to use the lower Octane spark table?

Pulled the fuses out today and put them back in after about an hour. My wife said she even felt a difference in the power.
Also, we're just at the 2000 mile mark.

I did the pull Saturday. Left it out for approx 13 hours. I dont think I feel much of a difference. I bought the car used from a guy that sells only mercedes, so maybe he had premium in before. None the less, its a good thing to try.

Pulled the fuses tonight on my new to me recently 22,000 mile 2010 ss , we will see tommorrow. I know it had low octane garbage in it as I heard a hint of spark knock on my 150 mile ride home from buying it. Have put 1500 miles on it since then filling with good 93 everytime. When I timed it a week ago 0-60 in drive was about 6.4 seconds so I am looking forward to positive results, Smitty

I pulled the fuses overnight last weekend. I noticed a difference in response and acceleration.

I just purchased a 2012 2SS/RS. I read this on the forum and the idle problem now makes sense. I pulled the fuses this morning.
I'll report back this evening or tomorrow. I look forward to the improved power!

Not seing much diff on my 2010 ss but it was hot out and real humid when I test drove it so maybe. The 0-60 in S mode is still just over 6 seconds, headers and exhaust goes on soon though, Smitty

Hey guys I am new to this forum and just got my 2014 Camaro SS a month ago. I just pulled my fuses last night but I think I got em mixed up. I did put them back this morning and the car runs fine except I did notice some lag in throttle response. Is is possible that I switched the #5 and #20 fuse or since they both are 15 amp it would not matter? Thanks.

Won't make a bit of difference. Same fuse as far as the car knows.

Hey guys new to this site. Just bought a 2014 Camaro SS 6 speed with 200 miles. Pics soon! Pulled my fuses this morning and put them back in this afternoon. I felt a difference in throttle response and was it not as shaky. This is a great site and thanks for everyone's input.
