Yep, what I have been finding out in my quest for knowledge and what I want to do

...This will be first road course on HP Pluses....They seemed to brake a little better on auto-x perhaps....Had stock pads for other times at Roval and Buttonwillow, and they faded eventually on the third or fourth session....just had to back off a little more when they started to feel different...

I'll see how the HP Plus do at Big Willow, hopefully better than stock....Next mod would be HP DTC 30s for the front....The high-end pads get real expensive real quick...lol....

If you plan on a lot of late braking, you do...if you take it easy on the brakes, with you're skill level you are probably good with what you have, as I know you did road courses on Ceramics before and were ok. Like Tom said, watch the later sessions for brake fade...

I just don't want that feeling I had out at Adams, with nothing there. Anti locks/ rough road right there may have had something to do with it, but I am sure the brakes were hot after 3 hard laps on that small course.
I will check out the HPS plus instead. I am going to swap them out between races anyway.

you mean you dont like the dust turning to concrete??

Cobalt Friction pads are legit! All the high end track pads are pretty significant upgrades...I honestly dont know why people like hawk aside from its a name.

Plus new track pads come in kick ass boxes to save for bolts on project car.

Alot of good input going on here. And I Was concerned with going with 1/3 of my brakes left and a chunk of steel in a tire. Silly me....lol
I 'll see what you guys think of the hps pads vs stock , if you like em I'll go with those for the street and auto x

Yeah, the dust issues are not fun, but they work awesome....and yes the boxes they come in are pretty cool....

I think everyone has that moment when they realize any moisture with that dust makes babies cry.
