What? That's ridiculous! Next you'll tell me that I might fix a broken computer at the college where I work if someone would report it to my department instead of complaining to their friends. Preposterous!

Listen, obviously the only thing to do is post on the internet. That's why we're all here!

We have independant suspension and the system is tuff, so it is prob ok....for sure dont want to do that again, but sometimes they just cant be avoided.
I've had snakebite breaks in my tire sidewall, rim edge bent in, and whole rim bent out of round. It's all quite obvious pretty quickly.

No wonder you got hit by road debris kicked up by the truck. If you gave yourself more room you could have seen it before the truck ran over it. Yes, I know the other traffic won't always cooperate...but the road debris doesn't care whether the other traffic will cooperate or not.

Sorry to say, you can't give more room when you're on a Southern CA freeway that is five (6) lanes wide and traffic is going around and passing you in every lane at anywhere from 60 - 90 mph. :P I was in the number 6 lane slowing down for the upcoming exit while all sorts of traffic and the big truck are passing me on the left (number 5 lane).

Anways. Things happen, you learn and move on.

Now's the road is uneven and full of potholes. This is not uncommon around here either, sadly. My guess is they do a crappy job on the roads for the job security of repairing them. Sure seems this way. Sorry about hitting the pothole Tarl...hope your baby is unharmed
i went there for a month last summer
and trust me... they are alot better in Arkansas

That stinks...I guess that's just a cost of driving on those roads. :(

When you give yourself room in California, it turns into a vaccuum and pulls someone into the empty space. If you continue to give your self room, your going to wind up driving in reverse.
