I think our flaw was that he started one car and moved to another before finishing the first car. I know it was to help things keep moving while pieces were put on/taken off or whatever, but we'd finish that up and wait while he worked on another car. Then instead of going back and finishing, the next car was started. There wasn't really any organization I guess. Plus, we would all start talking and get side tracked

Hard to say what would have made it go quicker, but definatly alot of work to get so many cars done. More tools would have helped a bit, but still alot of work Ofer had to do or assist on to make sure we did it right. He definatly worked hard to help us all. Its really not that tough with the harnesses he made, but as we learned several cars are different based on when they were built.

Yeah Chuck, I think there was just too much going on at one time so Ofer was being pulled in many directions. He did a great job trying to help us all. I think the numbers were just overwhelming.

There were about 13 cars done on Satuday. I hear some finished very late...

I was one of the cars that went down to do this, i am not sure if this matters to anyone, but it did to me, so it might to others...and i didnt realize this until i pulled the interior out - the light tube is clearly visable behind the dash strip. this is because the light tube is fairly thick and when placed behind the dash strip, the dash strip cant go back into its proper place. as was told to me - you cant tell the difference sitting in the car, but i know you certainly can when you are looking at any angle from the top. like standing outside the car, or any passenger getting in the car etc. it certainly dosnt look factory.

i decided not to do the install, and ended up putting my stuff back in. for those looking at doing this mod, i figure its only fair to mention this before you send money, or drive to do it, or like i did, pull out your interior.

if there is any way to do this mod, where ther dash strip goes back in as stock, i would be all for it, but as it is done here - its not for me.

thanks to the guys that helped me pull my car apart, and to 20102SSRS for setting it all up, sorry it just wasnt for me.

got pictures of this so we can see what you're talking about? for some people, it may depend on how obvious it is. some might be willing to live with it, others might not.

Most ppl dont have a problem with the look, its the right way to do it, there is a 2-3 mm gap on top of the trim.
