Ls3's stock eat l99's on top end. I spanked 3 different l99's all on highway rolls all different drivers. Ls3's are faster than l99's altogether.

I would not agree with that at all. You probelm didnt deal with the best of drivers. I say it is always the nut behind the wheel that determines the winner. It should be close even from a highway roll.

For the OP I beat a 2008 mustang and charger srt8 in my L99 when it was stock.

My friends 2012 M6 went 13.09 at 112mph on the virtually the same 60ft and the same K/N CAI and better DA.

I bought the K/N CAI from him and went 13.08 at 108 in 1100 DA in my L99

Sure he has the MPH but I have the ET and it would be a drivers race.

I love to tree my opponent so I generally have a good light and my 60's are consistent.

I am 100% non biased (duh i drive a ss camaro). Fact is the 5.0 is a considerably faster car than the camaro ss in stock form. Its mainly the gm/Chevy guys that have a hard time admitting this.

My brother and I go round and round over this same debate. It got so bad that i was ready to buy a used 13/14 5.0 just to prove him wrong with him driving my ss. It will still probably happen after my safety bonus at work in october.

I'd say only post cars that the SS would beat stock and with equal driving abilities... those all look like BS to me except maybe the Audi. IF they were equal drivers...

I agree, it's a faster car on paper. But sometimes it gets beat by a better driver in a slower car.

I would post stock times but I did not start racing until after my mods.

I agree. The listed cars with equal driver skill would win or just flat out destroy me. I guess I was trying to illustrate the importance of skill and equipment.

I have lost to plenty of cars that appeared to be close to my "numbers" or way under them. Without a doubt there is a lot of skill in racing; even if it is just a straight line.

Yes true. One time at the track (i prefer the streets) i ran a horrid 14.xxx lol and had a pontiac solstice destroy me. Technically he was faster than me bc that day i was a shi**y driver lol.

Both of those cars are owned by friends of mine. Multiple pulls still beat the srt8 and he knows what he is doing but he is no pro. The mustang is a v8
