clutch pedal sticking

I've noticed (on occasion) that my clutch pedal is not coming all the way back up. This only seems to be happening first thing in the morning and once i pop it back up with my foot, it's fine the rest of the day. The car is garaged and has 28k miles on it.

Same exact thing was happening to me in the mornings around 26,000 miles. I took it in to the dealer and there was a tsb on it and they put a new clutch pedal assembly in and it hasent done it since. I'm at 38,000 miles now

Awesome. I'm due to bring it in for an oil change, passenger rear window regulator and "another" look at the roof issues. I'll add this to the list. Thanks bro!

They'll probably charge you for it, assuming you have no factory bumper to bumper warranty left.

happened to me as well, last winter. I have a super-dooper graphite lube that fixed that.

Here is a post i made a few months ago.
"Here is something you might want to look into. I had my clutch stay day down on a 3-4 shift at the track. On cold days it would take a few minutes for it to always come back to the top. Took it to Burdick and Chris Hayes found "SI document 2773955" that stated my problem exactly. Under the warranty they replaced the clutch pedal assembly and clutch actuator cylinder hose and everything is perfect again. I ran 8 laps at Watkins Glen last Sunday with lots of shifting and no problems at all. It is possible that this could also be your problem."

I had this problem for the second time first time was after a burnout which only stuck for a second but this time was two days ago i had my car dyno tuned and later that night was turning around in a driveway and got on it a little bit because of a car coming and went no where and went to push in my clutch just to feel no clutch there! i pulled of side of road and about a minute later it came back up........ what should i do im at 408rwhp and dont know if i should replace clutch or what?

Camaro SS factory clutch systems have had issues with the clutch pedal going to the floor under high RPM use and not returning to the correct position. You could try to fix this with a clutch pedal return kit, here is the link

I had this issue with my 2014 SS after installing the Monster LT1-S it eliminated that problem, picked up power and still drives like stock without the clutch pedal assist spring.
