I had this done on my '15, though I don't have camber plates at this time.
How much caster did it gain you?

Doesn't the 17 ZL1 1LE have an easily adjustabe camber plate that allows track to street settings without compromising the caster adjustment and suspension geometry too much?

I've seen where our cars love caster - do you think you're at enough and it handles great, or do you recommend a bit more?

I haven't had more than that, so can't say. I can say that it makes steering heavier and on-center becomes more 'predictable' for lack of a better word. There's accelerated tire degradation as a downside, but it doesn't, so far, seem all that significant. I'm glad I made the change.

At some amount of added caster you'll probably need to correct bumpsteer (adding or subtracting static caster raises or lowers the outer tierod pivot relative to the inner pivot at the rack). An 0.8° caster change would change the bumpsteer, but I doubt it'd be by very much.

I've had these Vorslags on my car for over a year. No noise, no problems, great quality.

Decided to go with Moreno plates since they can be set up in any orientation for camber/caster. And also doing the caster lock plates on the front inner lower control arm bushing mount. This should allow me to set around 7* caster.

currently in the front i have the pegasus plates and homemade caster washers in the LCAs. i made the caster washers and ob longed the holes before i got the pegasus plates so i know that my homemade washers got me .8 of additional positive caster.
in the rear i have adjustable toe rods. my alignment guy can usually get whatever numbers i ask for.
since i recently changed my shocks and springs, i can say that all the parts and pieces of the pegasus plates seemed undamaged and like new after 20 hard track days. this car is not a daily driver and hunts a ditch on the highway. ive worked on and tested this thing for 7 seasons now and ive finally got it right. ive also made a lot of mistakes and went backwards for a while lol.

Got my self-made caster locks made and installed, and the Moreno adjustable camber/caster plates. It's hard to have an all-around Camaro SS for daily, drag racing, autocross and road course, not to mention an upcoming mile run. Anyway, had the car aligned with what I thought was a very compromised all-around setup, and here it is:

Front
Caster: 7.76*
Camber: -1.78*
Toe: 0*

Rear
Camber: 0.11*
Toe: 0.08*
