Muffler Delete

I think this is best and cheappest exhaust mod out there. I was a little bit scared to do this but Saturday I had it done. I must say I love it
If you are on the fence about this. I would say for the $ give it a try.
The exhaust has to be cut for axle back and cat back so you might loose a $100 or so. I paid $110 and from what I have read that was a little high, but I trust the shop and the work is A1.

I doubt he would have any since he's running a manual.

I have an auto SS and I did the muffler delete. I still have the center resonator and I did not notice any AFM drone by doing the muffler delete.

If you have an automatic, and still have AFM, I would suggest keeping the center resonator if you do the muffler delete.

It's not as loud and obnoxious as some people think.

I have not noticed any. If you do it and you don't like it I think you can add J pipes to take out the drone.
Like I said I LOVE THE WAY IT SOUNDS NOW.

I love my 3 inch straight pipes. Mines loud but its just the cam, and turbos saying "were ready to go when you are"

nice...what turbo system did you go with? i was thinking i'd eventually turbo instead of supercharge.

i saw a couple vids of muffler deletes...i think i prefer the NPP exhaust. not a fan of the pops/gurgles, but i also couldn't find any where someone did anything other than give the engine a few revs

You cut away the OEM mufflers that have J-pipes built into them, SPECIFICALLY designed to eliminate drone, and you want to know if you now have drone? Resonators don't eliminate drone, they muffle the exhaust tone a little. If you have a L99 with AFM and you do the muffler delete, you'll not only amplify the exhaust, you'll amplify the AFM sound when it's active.
