So the fuse pull has nothing to do with this right?

Hey john I noticed that your car moved a little bit before you started the burnout. Looked like you floored it first then hit the brakes. Sorry guys I'm new to the a6 stall sc meth market. I'm just trying to learn

I don't think your issue is the ABS.

My car might have moved a bit. I don't have a line lock on the car yet so I have to be as light as I can on the brakes.

Ok. Yea I'll just have to play with it. Maybe I'm pressing the brakes too much or not enough. I have no problem doing this in the Silverado

any of you guys skip the fuse pull and just restart the car after the burnout? Another member suggested that to me. Last time i went to the track and had all nannies off i still had stabiltrak light come on from the burnout and i use a Hurst line loc.

If you shut off your car or it stalls after the burnout you will have to turn the nannies off again once you restart the car.

Silly me. I was just pushing the brakes too hard. Lol. I could do it on any other vehicle but just not brembos. They are really sensitive to the touch

Sorry to revive old thread but I need help with this. 2011 M6 40 and 43 pulled Traction control is NOT off. only stabil light on the dash and I tested this theory at the trac tonight.... with fuses in and button pressed I could actually get smoke in the tires and the throttle would stay wide open. with the fuses pulled it fell on its face back to back. I need help with this because my tire setup freaks out the abs system. I repeat TRACTION CONTROL NOT OFF with fuse 40 and 43 pulled. this is on my car and im not crazy.

The only way to turn off tc this way is to remove only the big abs fuse #43, and not the smaller one #40. But by doing so, the brake pedal still pulses hard during a burnout.

How are you guys getting by with pulling both fuses and still able to turn off tc?
I had the same problem with my 2010 L99. I pulled the correct fuses and went to do a burnout at the water box and the car just puked and would spin tire at all. The button was useless as well. I found it best to just leave the fuses in and hold the button down for about 10 seconds to turn the nannies off.

atleast I know Im not crazy now. Problem is the abs doesn't like my tire setup and I can't figure out why. 28 front 28.8 back and obviously the backs don't run with much psi at the track.

I think the max diameter can be off without causing issues is 0.5", I have not had any issues with mine but my fronts are 28.0 and rears are 28.11 per Mickey Thompson Specs. As soon as I use my line lock I get a service stable track message, I hit the button on the blinker lever to clear it and it seems to be ok.

I had an issue pulling fuses too. I have a m6 but burnout was fine then once I launched car would rev to 5k and fall on its face I was shifting at 6200 put fuses back in and all was ok. I like running with abs off simply for the electric power steering being off. Wheel is not as touchy and I like the way it feels better.
