Road race performance shops

Anyone know of any road race performance shops on Long Island, Northeast area? Seems like most shops cater to the 3/4 mile guys.
I'm asking in case I decide to lose it completely and go gutted interior with roll cage etc. Doubt I will but would like to know where to start if I do.

You found your shop. We do pick up and deliver.

Wet weight ready to race with a five gallon dry sump tank is lower than a C7 Z06 Dry. If I leave now, we can have your car on the trailer headed to my shop mid-morning

Seriously, I am looking for a client that want to install a NASCAR Chevy SB2 motor plate motor in a 5th Gen or Corvette. We want to run it off the factory harness and maintain ABS.

9000 RPM
850 HP
Billet Crank Knifed and Polished
Full Race Valve Train
5 Stage Dailey Dry Sump wit Air Oil Seprator

It will be the baddest, fastest Road Course 5th Gen ever built.

The owner is from California. He is doing a number of the OPTIMA USCA events. We'll be at Charlotte July 30 / 31. If you can make it down you can tour our build shop in Martinsville VA, the engine shop in Concord, NC and hang with us for the event.

We were just at NJMP about a month ago. Now if you were a client, my guess is I would be spending more time at all three

You went carburetor?

We did a Gen II HEMI conversion to EFI and want to do the same with a SB2 using the factory harness to maintain the function of the race ready Z/28 stability and traction control along with ABS.

That would be slick for sure!

Maybe you can do a trans axle while your at it.

backtotintops:
Why does it seem most shops do race prep and services for Porsche and BMW?

We'll be leaving the shop later today to head down to Charlotte for the OPTIMA / USCA event at Z-Maxx and the Speedway.

Ounces make pounds and one wiper saves a couple of pounds. As we work late hours we draw our inspiration form a number of sources.

The MavTV crew will be on hand.from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, July 29th along with 15 OPTIMA custom builds.

Advance Auto Parts,
264 Concord Pkwy S
Concord, NC

A full sweep one wiper system removed more than a few ounces from this build.
