I installed my own full stripe kit from GM...hood and trunck stripes... They weren't simple, but turned out nice. Just take your time and if you find they aren't laying down well, put it in the sun a few minutes and it will help...

I purchased a set and tried it myself. I found it very hard to get the stripes to lay down correctly over the cowl on the front hood. I ended up taking them back off because they didn't suit me when I was finished. I would leave this to the professionals.

I had custom stripes made & installed them myself

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126631

this was my first time & it wasn't too bad as long as you keep everything wet & have paitence (as others have said)...I didn't use soapy water though, what I did was buy a window tint application kit & used the applicator spray from that...it doesn't hurt the paint & it was recommended to me by the guy who made the stripes...I think it was about $8 at the local parts store...it even came with a rubber applicator for applying the stripes

I have installed hood spears several times using the wet method and it's a breeze.. Much easier then the Rally Stripes !!
