Just wanted to say thanks to thank Mr. Wyndham for organizing getting the ball rolling for the track day last Friday at GINGERMAN RACEWAY. Also to Phil from CGI Motorsports and the track personnel for a fun and safe track day. Starting to find I kind of like driving in the rain a bit,go figure. Following the faster cars and more experienced drivers is also a great learning tool. Also met some cool people and got some good info on tire selection from E. Bryant. Anyway had a great time and I am already looking forward to next year:-)

CGI Event 10-16-2015

Lap two was my fastest, 1:44.978. This was in the first session after lunch in the advanced group. A big thank you to Mr. Wyndham for putting this together, and a big thank you to CGI for putting on another great event. During the rain a group of us were talking with the owner and discussing how CGI always seem to attract good people both on and off the track. Over the summer I had the dip stick come out of the tube and spray oil all over the engine bay. The guy running the black Boss 302R was there and nice enough to give me a can of brake clean to clean the oil off. I made sure that I had a can this time and put an extra in my tote in case I saw him again. He was at this event and I was able to give him a can back. I would have been in big trouble driving 100 miles back home without his help. Hope we do another next year.
