2012 V6 Convertible starting issues..
Ive done a lot of searching, and having found anything that is helping. My next step would be to replace the starter but wanted to ask here first.
My car intermittently will just click when I try to start the car. It has been happening for like a year and usually will start after a minute or two. Two days ago it did this and wont start at all. Ive tried jumping the car with a running BMW X5 and still just a click. The windows and everything works internally. Ive tried replacing the starter relay, pulling and re-inserting the starter fuse, window fuses and re-calibrate the windows. Still no luck. |

Sounds like a starter to me. Obviously make sure the battery is good. Check if it starts in neutral. If it still doesn’t start check for battery voltage to the starter then check for voltage on the “s” terminal when in the start position.if all is good replace the starter. Starter is grounded to the block
