I've never liked them. They break up the clean lines of the car.
As for the people who are concerned about rock chips, our cars are made to be driven. Minor blemishes like rock chips isn't a big deal. We are not driving super, ultra rare cars. The ZL1 guards posted above are actually nice looking though.

Oh yea, they're great. You really don't notice them at all. Where as the regular splash guards stand out like a sore thumb.

I like those ZL1 guards, can barely see them in the pics. I think I'm going to consider that as my next purchase.

I personally think they take away from the look of the vehicle. It's not a truck... it does not need mud flaps. Sorry for those of you that have them and love them... just my personal take.

thats exactly why i went with them. once i put the 315's on the back i was slinging all kinds of stuff all over my rear fender. but i knew i didnt want the normal style splash guards so i went with these. SUPER easy to install and very subtle.

Bought the RPI Design splashguards with the ZL1 rear splash guards and haven't regretted that decision ever since. |

I bought the GM splash guards and taped them on one side so I could look at them. They looked a lot better in pictures of other people's cars than they did in person, so I sold them.

i am looking at new camaros and i like the splash guards. i think the 2014 are mud flaps and just black, not color painted with car.
if i get a 14, i will put 2013 guards on and have them painted if i have to. i like the look. |
