Weekend projects

Since I had a loooong weekend, I decided to do my strut bar. I bought this from another member and sanded it down. Painted the middle yellow. Used my wifes cricuit for the lettering. Then I painted it all black. Came out great. Another member had put in the part number for the strut bar bolts and washers.

Then I painted my rims, couldn't be any happier with how they came out. I had Plasti dipped them before to see what black rims look like. Super easy to take off. I had to do it in my garage with the over cast weather. Plus bring in the A/C from the house to get the humidity down to the right level. Patience prevailed and I love the look.

How did you get the Autobot emblems to maintain their gloss? Mine have actually corroded quite substantially. I doubt I'd replace them but yours look pristine.
