When I use Pandora from my phone I have to press the Bluetooth icon instead of the Pandora icon because its grayed out. Why would it be grayed out ? Everything with Pandora works normally..

Do you have an iPhone? If so, I'd say that's the reason. When I first got my car I had a Galaxy Note 2. A few months later I made the switch to an iPhone 6 Plus and when I did, the Pandora button stopped working. Also, I couldn't reply to text messages from the Mylink screen. Basically, I had to use Siri for everything. I recently made the switch back to Android (GS7Edge) and now all the buttons are working like they're supposed to, including replying to texts from the Mylink screen.

Assuming it's a relatively recent ZTE running 5.X or better, it should work. Perhaps go into the Bluetooth settings on your phone and make sure you have all the options enabled. If you have a friend with an Android phone, try letting them pair it to your radio and see if they get different results.

Lastly, my phone has a screen lock on it (finger printer reader). If the phone is locked Mylink can't activate Pandora so I get a message about unlocking the phone and launching the app. Maybe try launching Pandora with your phone unlocked.

Mine only is lit when the iPhone is wired in to the console USB port. But it will play without being lit up thru Bluetooth.

Thats exactly what mine does. Plays normally through the Bluetooth icon, but the Pandora icon is grayed out.

does your bluetooth cuts off and come back on after you reply to a text via mylink? mine does. it cuts my music if playing via bluetooth. annoying as hell.

Sorry. I'm about all out of ideas. I've got a Samsung GS7 Edge and all parts of Mylink work as expected. Maybe try a delete and repairing of the phone.

I have the S6 Edge and mine also disconnects after replying to a text. Sometimes Pandora is grayed out but a restart or power cycle normally fixes it. Not sure why BT disconnects though. Don't recall that with the S4 so I assume it's a phone issue.

i believe it is, i had an HTC EVO before my S6 and that one worked just fine.

my daughter connected her Icrap6 in my car yesterday and pandora was greyed out. im sure is a iphone issue. just like im having with my shitty S6 phone. Phones bluetooth firmware are getting wayyy ahead of the mylink firmware or whatever it is.

got an iphone 6 no probs at all pandora,amazon prime, and anything else works fine, flash drive whatever.
