Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but most are assuming a 2014 Z28 with an LS7 and probably a 1LE type suspension setup. But that is all an assumption. Which may be along the lines of something that I would pay for.

The 5th Gen has been a steady sales success first because it was a ground breaking design and had a legion of fans waiting to buy. The success was supported with special editions and the introduction of the Vert. That was followed by the much anticipated release of the Z/28 which turned out to be the LSA powered ZL1 loaded with electronic genius. The addition of the 1LE for 2013 keeps excitement high and sales moving. So what do we do for 2014? We just happen to have a handful of LS7 production motors available. We have brakes, drive line, suspension and more to go with an LS7. We just happen to have another revered name plate we could use. Why not build a 427 LS7 powered Z/28 in 2014? That will keep the focus on the 5th Gen headed into the 2015 model year. What can you expect in the 15? My guess is a knock you socks off LS9 ZL1. That keeps the 5th Gen new and exciting for the release of the Alpha 6th Gen as a 2016.

I don't think the Camaro TEAM needs my future product schedule advice, but I do enjoy reading the tea leaves and knowing what they are going to do next. The real luxury we have is if they don't follow our strategy we can all blame them later for not giving us what we wanted

The LS7 might tear a sonic in half.

I also knew and mentioned about the Hot Wheels edition way back in the Spring, and was told I was crazy about that too! And for those who don't remember....I was the first to post about the 1LE going into production as well

I think it's a cool idea but a waste since it will be slower then a zl1 so what's the point? Track car sorta like a 1le would make sense but to many people are hung up on the lack of straight line speed offered by the zl1 so how would this be any different?
