Has anyone been able to physically bolt the calipers on to a ZL1 or do you need a custom bracket? Just curious

I don't actually know of anyone but the Z/28 is essentially just a Camaro. So I can't think of a single reason why not.

I was wondering if the knuckles of both cars are the same.

As far as I know, yes. The hubs are different though.

Z/28 seems the way to go, the other way is going to require you buy new wheels and tires.
This is exactly why someone needs to do it as just the carbon rotors direct bolt on standard ZL1 size. |

That was the first thing I thought of trying to do. Not going to happen anytime soon using the stock sized rotors. There isn't enough surface material (remember it has to be wider in carbon ceramic) with the stock size rotor to make a difference in heat dissipation. It would look nice on the car.

I would rather have the 19" 315 Hoosiers over a set of carbon ceramic rotors any day.

Your other option is molycarbide rotors.

Never heard of them until your post. Quick search yielded some interesting results. Do you know of a mfg that makes them for our application?
