Not starting issue

Yeah I have a 2010 camaro and I'm having a starting issue right after I fill the gas tank up, it cranks but won't fire but eventually will, and it only does after you fill the tank up with gas. I put new plugs in it and gapped to .40 and it helped for a little bit but it's back doing it again. Is the gap wrong? Is it the fuel pump? I had the timing chains replaced as I was having a check engine light with them and didn't have the issue of this odd staring issue to now, what could be the problem? No cel and the car runs great

Mine has done this a few times a few years back - on really hot days. If you shut it off and try to start it a few minutes later it wont start. Once it cools a bit - starts right up. I chalked up to vapor lock. fairly common issue.

Dropping the tank is a PITA. There is a thread here where someone pulled the rear seat, cut a hole in the floorpan right above the fuel pump, then fabbed a nice cover for the hole. Using this hole/cover you could literally replace your pump in about ten minutes. If mine ever goes bad, this is what I plan to do.

Would a fuel pump going bad make have a burbling at start up through the air filter system? It's a k&n cai? I hope it's just the fuel pump being weak? I refuse to have the timing chains redone again after I had it fixed under warranty and now my warranty is up. I'm not paying out of pocket to fix what the Chevy dealer already fixed. As my check engine light came on afterwards

Had code checked it's got a miss I don't know if it's coil or plugs, I replaced the plugs and gapped them to .040 and I disconnected the coils on every cylinder and they make the engine want to shut off, I plugs I ordered from rockauto was slightly longer. Would that make a difference?

You may have water in the tank too..Try some Heet first and see if that helps.
