Well I kinda did. Before I stored it I was at Their shop adding meth injection. Car made 681rwhp. Stored the car.(Massachusetts winter) Brought it back after exhaust was cut due to misfiring. New plugs, re dyno. Car made 696 on a hotter day. Only change was same new plugs and removal of 2 mufflers.

I unserstsmd that. Just prefer to see it same day, same conditions. Either way I think we'll see more results similar to yours in future. Car is going in shop in few weeks, will look at my options then.

Yeah, there's a lot of filler in there. It certainly doesn't get to the point right away.

I figure I would revive this. But I am thinking of getting rid of the first 2 and replacing the second 2 by the tips with the pypes m80 exhaust. A lot more free flowing and at least it will give it more of a tone than just straight piping it. They say it sounds a lot like the SLP LoudMouth 2 which combined with everything else I have it should sound pretty mean.

Me removing the middle 2 and leaving the rear 2 in place is stupid loud....the drone is unbearable on the highway.

I can't imagine removing the rear 2 as well!

I wonder if I should take a page out of Pypes book and do what they did with their catback. Its pretty much straight piped but the only downside is it's 2.5". But they have 3" m80 piping so I would use that. I wonder how it would sound if i replaced the middle 2 with the pypes exhaust and then straight piped the back two. might be a little better inside the cabin.

just a thought.

If you want power and don't mind the sound running open headers with a tuned pipe is still the way to go .

Not quite there yet. Still want it to be a "Street Car" (mostly for the classes) and I don't want to have to buy a whole new exhaust system. So im just trying to figure out what would be the best route. So I drew up a diagram. Can someone tell me what would be the best placement of the Pypes m80s to where there would be less cabin drone.

At first I was going to put them near the end like in the picture but after the previous posts I think that will give too much cabin noise. So Im wondering if I put the m80s where the first set of baffles are and straight pipe the back of the car if it would help with the drone.
