Angry windshield wiper rubbing?

I just got in my car after work today and I discovered that my windshield wiper has been rubbing the heck out of my hood.

I think it might be related to this post but I couldn't find any pictures.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82123

I just wanted to check to see if anyone else's is rubbing like mine.
I'm going to take it into warranty.

I should have some pictures posted shortly.

Something must be bent or installed wrong, they should not be touching anything.

yeah that's what I thought. I noticed the wiper blade "floats" and moves up and down as the wiper wipes.

talked to a dealer and they are going to get it fixed.

sounds like they want to do some "body" work on it when I think they should replace everything not just toss some bondo in there....
it's less than a year old and desires the best.

I'll find out on the 6th if they do anything it worthy of notes.

Thanks.

Most likely they will adjust the hood and take alook at your windshield wiper and see if its bent if it is they'll replace it.

well it's at the shop. they have to order the parts.
apparently the wiper arm + wiper transmission needs replaced.
should be here tomorrow. so I get a rental. :-(

keep in mind this doesn't even cover the paint for the hood yet that's going to be another appointment all together.

so this is one of those pita's be sure to check if you ever notice your wipers "floating" when you drive.
