Unfortunately, i didnt have time to bitch about it or anything really, had to be back home before 3. So.... i guess ill call them back tomorrow and try to get some answers and a real update.

On a side note, the guy i was dealing with was super nice, and prob the best customer service ive ever gotten from GM (other than the flat out lies from above) so hats off for that.
They probably just plugged in the Tech2 and let it run a check for updates and it said "all done" so they figured it was up to date. You're probably going to have to impress upon them that it is supposed to play 10,000 songs but only sees 2500 and that TIS2WEB says that there's an update/new hardware that fixes this.

Well...

The dealership did not have this update available to them. They called up to GM and confirmed the version I have is the most recent.

Is the DA/DX update on a 2011 model? Maybe that is the difference?

Even when they looked at the TIS2WEB they couldn't find it?

It's not going to just "get to" the dealers. It's a new hardware module. They will have to order a replacement for yours and when the replacement arrives it *should* be the new hardware.

So do you think the 20893388 module will have the updated software? or just the 20927510?

Ok to be more specific, the dealers are not "getting it" that there is a new hardware module available now....especially if GM is telling them that CC is still the most current. Yet another case of the left hand oblivious to the right.

I'm guessing that no matter what they order, it will be the new one. GM probably isn't sending out the old one anymore. I wonder if they are putting the new one in current builds? The tis2web site is down at the moment so I can't check.

TIS2WEB shows that part number that they ordered and it looks like the old one. BUT that doesn't mean the new one won't come in it's place. Definitely keep us posted. There's several part numbers in that list and I'm not sure how that equates to actual parts.

So I just got back from my dealer and they had no clue what I was talking about for the PDIM update. They basicly said unless they see a bulletin or a recall that I would have to pay for it. I showed them a print out of the TIS2WEB and he had never seen anything like it before. Said he would do some asking around and get back with me, chances are I'll be calling them first. Any advice?

Find a dealer that has installed the PDIM as an accessory? They should know what TIS2WEB is

Will this update fix the random skip issue I'm getting now? I'll be listening to a song and I get random breaks, almost like it paused briefly. Reminds me of the old days of crappy scratched records or bad needles on the player.
