Did any of you guys happened to notice what your engine temp was when you were staging? The air was bad when i ran and the engine ran hot...i noticed my engine running 205-212 range even though i let it cool down between rounds. Nearly 70% humidity and mid 90's temps doesnt help either. My car feels faster then a 14.2...will try again in september or early october when we start to get some nicer weather.

I found mine runs better times when hot. Worst times are when I get first get there and by the end I am running like .3 faster... i keep mine on in the staging lanes most of the time.

We have found that the engine likes to perform better when hotter, but you do want colder air coming in too.

For me running whne it is 50 degrees out is a good combo of traction, cool air and decent DA.

Yep hot fluids and cold air... and I have the dyno sheets to prove it! LOL!

Put my LLT on the dyno after a LONG cool down period... took 5 back to back dyno pulls to see peak power! So you can see the gain of a fully warmed up LLT vs a cool one!

Mine is just the opposite, although that could be do the traction issues as I get way better traction earlier but we will see how a set of trailing arms affects that.

I think we need a new category for those that only have CAI... There is no way to get into the 13s with an LFX without a tune. Especially without being able to use headers

At the right track, in the right conditions I don't see why it couldn't be done. RTcat600man did it with just an intake and exhaust in his 2010. Sure, it is extremely rare, but shows it can be done.

In warm temps like this, it aint going to happen.

you're not going to break any records during the summer. Fall and winter are prime time for drag racing

I may bring shame to the V6 community with my crappy times, but at least I'll make a list for once.

Mods are:

IPF Supercharger w/ Tune
Auto with 3.27 gears
VMAX Ported Throttle Body
MACE Stage 4 Ported Intake Manifold
ARH Headers 1-3/4th
ARK DT-S
BMR Trailing Arms
BMR Subframe Inserts
Stock 245/50-R19 Pirelli All-season tires with 32k miles on them.

I had just started the car up for the first time at noon and raced it that night. DA was 2500+ during the runs. Here is a video of the 4 runs I made, along with the DA:

Need to get that 60 down... try staging as shallow as possible and leaving on third yellow
