High Impact, Low Cost Mods

So for around 8 bucks I changed the color of my bowties. For about 13 dollars I highlighted the gills with some decals. I learned yesterday that with a $2 pen I can change the color of the stitching on my leather seats, which will be done soon. And for less than $20 I will paint my brake callipers, already bought the paint, it's just too cold to do it.

Do you have any other great ideas of low cost, high impact mods that you have done to your ride. Please share!

Oh yea, and $20 worth of paint to paint the engine cover. That will be done this spring as well.

Hey man,
Have any pics of the leather seat stitching mod?
Curious to see how it came out.

$20 to paint the engine cover? I went to Ace, got some Krylon and did it for $8...two tone! Heat doesn't affect it. (then I spend a bunch getting a car show cover with Megan on it)

That was just an estimat. Between primer paint and clear coat, prolly won't be that much, I was just estimating. Plus I'm planning on doing a two tone thing with matching racing stripes on cover to match car. I saw where someone else had done it and it looked awesome imo.

wow never heard of the stitch dying mod. You literally saved me 1200$ from buying katskinz. I wanted the stock seat look just with yellow stitching.

So now you can take the $1,195 and get some Kooks LT headers

My few hundred dollars of mods became 12k in mods reallllly fast ...just sayin...but its easy to break away from the stock look without spending much. Great to see some unique cars!

I would go ahead and do it but, I'm waiting till it gets a lil warmer to put the stripes on the car. Then I'll follow that with the stripes on the engine cover. Not sure who it was but there was a pic on a thread about the covers that had matching pen stripes and all. I think it was blue and silver. It is killer. That's the look I want to shoot for.
