I got to drive the Z06 at my local chevy dealer. My friend/saleman let me take the used Z for a spin!! OMG it was nasty! its soooo light and responsive! i was really impressed. it def. scared me a little but also it was the most exhilarating N/A car ive driven and fastest. ill post some pics in a little bit!

I WANT ONE!

An engineer who worked for me in my Corvette days bought one of the first Z06s. Took it home and broke it open. Cams, exhaust..........yum.

I got to drive it once.................stopped when spinning the tires in 3rd gear was sufficient fun. However, the Corvette VCE drove the car and deemed it nice..........but not a ZR1 by an means. Which only makes me want to drive one of those.

I'm sure you had a great drive.

i just was in awe of how light it felt... it made my ride feel like a pig. Although i do "feel" more planted in my camaro. im not sure if its the weight or the suspension or both but i wasnt comfortable in the car yet and the power it had caused me to take it easy. but the acceleration from 3rd gear (couldnt have been in 2nd) was really fast. i hit 100 from a 50 roll in 2-3 seconds! and then backed down and passed the 5-0 sittting over the next hill. lol that was close. i just hit it once and the rest of the time i just enjoyed the ride!

I am trying to stay away from driving one If I do, I will sell the Camaro, and anything else I have, to own it

Not yet for me...I'll see what the C7's are like...then get a used Z06 for even cheaper! (I hope)...

I've got a Magnacharger TVS 2300 on my '09 Z06. Yes, it is in a whole other league of cars than my Camaro, even though it is Magnacharged too. Completely different driver experience between a Z06 and a Camaro.

I'd recommend that nobody test drives a C6Z06, your current car will seem pretty boring. That could get expensive. LOL

but I do like the planted feel of the Camaro. The Vette is just soo light and im not used to that.
