Springs

Where can I find some springs for my LS? I don't want anything crazy, just a 1-1.25 inch drop. How much are they? Thanks!

We offer PFADT series by aFe Control springs for the camaro, offering a 1" to 1.25" drop your looking for.

Apparently I am not allowed to send messages because my inbox is full......I was asking if I need to go up speed humps and other bumps/driveways on an angle to avoid scraping?

Oh ok , you should be fine I have had customers install our springs with ground effects kits, and only scrape on really slanted driveways and entrances. Just go slowly onto driveways and speed bumps, and you will be fine. Some speed bumps you can go head on, others you may have to go over them at a angle. What size wheels and tires do you have?

On the V6, I recommend BMR's 1.2" springs; part # SB052. They are made specific for the V6 models.

Depending on where you live you may have to get in the habit of taking driveway approaches at an angle. Here in SLC, UT. we have some serious drainage gutters for our run-off; stock vehicles have to take things at an angle sometimes. But of course, a little driving technique will get you past most anything.

Best regards,

Tyler

You will be fine, we have installed our springs on several ZL1 camaro's that have wider tires, and have not had any issues at all.

Offset of the wheels plays a big factor in fitment. If you have an aggressive offset, be careful with lowering.
