I'm sorry but in my opinion that extra $1500 for MAYBE 15hp more could be put to better use, like towards a lighter weight drag wheel setup or a higher stall converter. I run the Pray Performance ported LT5 95mm TB and ported stock LT1 intake on my 2020 SS and for what it's worth it makes noticeably more power up top than it did before.

great comparison! for those with a 10 speed 2019 or 2020 I would say this is definitely worth it! the 30 or so hp difference in hp you get from shifting the car at closer to 6800 rpm and only dropping rpms down to around 5800 rpm is a huge advantage and will make a very big difference in times and overall power.

this is not a one-size fits all. Early on I went to MSD ported during my FBO days. I thought it was worth while because of the top end pull allowing me to hit the next gear harder. That was at 6800 RPM BTW. Is it worth it? I think so but it is now one size fits all. I would say if you are sticking with FBO, there is nothing wrong with a Pray ported stock intake. If you may go cam / heads, don't waste your money go for the 95mm and MSD. If you going centri FI, stock or ported stock is fine.
