Auto transmission

I just got a 2013 SS. It has 300 miles now and just noticed it seems to be a bit hesitant on first gear going onto second gear. A little vibration on the pedal as well.. any opinions?

This is my bet.

Also, get yourself a ported TB, this will help the lag "not" associated with AFM.

This pretty much.

There is definitely a break in period of a minimum 2K-3K miles on the Camaro as well. The car will eventually open up and you'll notice a difference. It's likely a combination of a couple of these factors.

I cant remember any lag, but that was 25000 miles ago and have a few mods since then.

It only goes into first in 'M' mode when you physically place it in 1st with the paddle shifter. Normal driving, when you come to a stop it will go to 2nd gear only and change from there.
Thats what my 2010 does, not sure if it changed??? You can check that out by putting into 'M' and coming to a stop - should say 2nd on the dash. you then drop it into 1st with the shifter.

Are you driving in D or S? What octane gas are you using? It makes a difference.

Well thankfully its seems to be gone no hesitation or vibration.... I haven't drove it on M yet but I did hit the paddle shift accidentally while in drive and it did change gears... And I used chevron 92 for my first full tank.
