is z28 front bumper same as the SS from same gen?
title says it all, besides the flowtie and the foglights covers, is the front bumper the same?
I'd like to do some experiment with aero but I don't want to touch the original bumper. any other suggestion about where I can get a front bumper that can fit without too much stress on the Z28?

The bumper listed for the Z/28 is a different part. I just had to have a repair done on the front of my car and the shop wasn't able to get a new bumper cover. So apparently it is specific.
That being said, I don't know what makes it specific. The SS bumper cover looks identical in everything but some of the trim items. I would see if you could source a good wrecked SS bumper cover from 2014-15 and give a test fit. It might just be some of the smaller parts that are different that you could swap over. |

Rebuilt a few z/28s. It was a while ago. If I remember correctly the holes on z/28 cover was pre punched for the front spoiler. The holes for the flares still needed to be drilled. Other than that pretty sure they are the same

And the only other things that might be different are a couple of the mounting brackets on the Z28 bumper vs the SS bumper, otherwise they should be the same.
