Brembo Replacement Brake Pads
Apologies as this has been discussed before...but my lack of knowledge about Carbon Ceramics has me concerned I am going to buy the correct size pad for the wrong application and ruin my rotors.
From past posts I believe I am correct in saying that the Brembo replacement pads are as follows: Front pads - 22990624 - Brembo P10096N Rear pads - 22990625 - Brembo P85110N or P85116N My first questions is, the two versions of rears are shown to be oe compatible, but one has 17mm of material the other 18mm. Which do I want? Next, the Brembo site shows them in the parts list, but clicking buy now does not show them available. A quick google shows all the regular auto parts stores being able to provide them...but the prices... $115 for the fronts and $85 for the rears seems out of the range of what I expect...which makes me think I'm not ordering the correct pad application. Thoughts? |

$1000 would be what I am expecting. That post is where I collected my original information. I see your previous post, those part numbers aren't getting me anywhere.

As another option, you can replace your original rotors and pads. I took mine off at 7000 miles to keep them in good condition for the next owner (if that ever happens) and went with the girodisc.

Docra, you may have a typo.
It's 8091 for the fronts https://www.paragon-products.com/Pag...091-p/8091.htm |

Anythingbuttime - I think you're overthinking this, I've replaced front and rear pads multiple times with both the pagid and OE brembos.
I've also replaced the front rotors at a significantly lower cost using GM CCB rotors reusing the Z28 hats. I bought these and they were OEM. https://ebay.us/m/pPteYc |

You are absolutely correct, I am overthinking this because I don't want to end up with a knock-off pad that adversely affects my rotors. We've weighed the rotors and they retain most of their mass confirming they are the low mileage as stated...seller in my opinion is 100%
I ordered https://www.ebay.com/itm/335970441842 and https://www.ebay.com/itm/316783862078 I would be happier (ie. more comfortable) paying double and having them come off the parts truck from GM. |

Measure the used pads that thickness against the new ones you've ordered. Unless the owner heavily tracked the car, you might be shocked how close they are to new pads.
Also, you don't really need to stress about the carbon ceramic discs as much. You can get new front rings between $1000-$1300 each, but I doubt you'll need to change them in your entire ownership. |
