Yeah, Maxspeed has the same set up for the cut outs as I do. The sound is unbelievable ! Absolutely a Pat's fan. Been one since 1976 |

Well the cruise season is sadly winding down here in the northeast. The Thursday night cruise at Bass Pro/Foxboro stadium was a bit smaller than usual, but there were still a good amount of outstanding cars. Here are some pic's from the night.

Changing Rims??
I'm again thinking about changing the rims, any thoughts ? The first picture is what I currently have (3 piece, forged aluminum and chrome) and the second picture is a set of Foose rims. Can't decide....

I like the Foose wheels, I could see why you would want to change.

I agree with Eric, but honestly i like the 3 piece forged ones a little better! Honestly the only rims i truly like are the D2 Forged Concaves! Unfortunately the went out of business when i decided i wanted them and was going to sell mine

LS3 Throttle Body
Wondering if anyone has taken the electronics and internals out of the LS3 throttle body unit? I'm sending my out to be chromed and need to remove the internals but haven't tried this before.

It is tough to do, we wanted to send to powder coating but went with paint because damage is almost impossible without all the right tools

Fall - Winter Mods
Well the cruise and car show season is winding down quickly here in New England (28F this morning, YUK!) and just when I thought I was done with mod's, I'm pulled right back in with some more idea's . So here we go:
1. I've sent out the plastic cowl that is just below the front windshield and the inside trunk panel to be sanded smooth, painted and clear coated silver ice metallic. Then the cowl will be pin stripped to match the pin stripping already in the engine. 2. Will be sending out the trunk hinges and the hardware to be chromed. In addition all the screws that hold the inner fender wells will be chromed. 3. Will also be sending out the driver side and passenger side door guides for chrome. 4. Adding some nice trim work from River City Creations around the front speaker and defrost: 5. Had the guys over at Emblem Pro's come up with a chevy bowtie to add under the hood: That should cover things for now, but wait....I have a few other idea's I'm considering but not ready to pull the trigger.... Just got these 2 pieces back from the body shop. Sanded, primed, painted and clear coated. They came out excellent :
This is the windshield shroud painted silver ice metallic and it will be send out for pin striping next week: This is the trunk panel painted silver ice metallic: |
