Question Passing emissions with long tubes ?

Those of you with long tubes (full exhaust), what do you plan on doing to pass emissions testing?

Maybe no one has had a car long enough to require emissions testing. Here in Texas, your first inspection is due on the end of the car's second year.

If the headers are equipped with bungs for O2 sensors, I would guess that most won't need to do anything.

Emissions are connected to OBDII port and in NJ as long as there are no "codes" you pass... they never actually test the exhaust.

Texas is OBDII testing as well. They don't do a visual on the placement of the cats. Not sure about MO or IL depending on which side of the muddy you are on.

No testing here in Alabama.

Not much I can complain about here.

No o2 testing, no front license plate.

I don't see a resolution here. The question was what are you going to do about emissions, not whether or not they are required in your area.

Are the catless LTs throwing codes? I am assuming so, since the OP is asking, is there a way to tune the code out? I know that you have to drive 50 ish miles without a tuner/dash hawk/etc. plugged into your OBDII, or else you'll fail because their machines can tell when something has been plugged into it. Anyone with some insight would be helpful. I'm contemplating LTs, but refuse to have to uninstall/reinstall every time it's emissions time.

Just passed emissions testing here (NC) with full Kooks exhaust. They don't do a visual, just OBDII.
