So sorry to hear that man. I hope the jackass that did this will burn.
For someone to steal the shifter they had to know how to remove it and that it's an aftermarket piece. I personally think it was a fellow camaro owner. Just my 2 cents

On another note, take some pics of that dash. I would love I see it and possibly trade up to it. Pm any details I should know

Try the spring in the old shifter you had before. Hopefully it works. (though, something is telling me you already told me it wouldn't)

That really sucks. You seemed like a cool guy working hard to get the car put back together. Even if Ofer didn't appreciate the flashlight work, you still did not deserve that. I hope everything gets sorted out and you find your shifter.

Sadly it happens all too often even at Camaro events. Every single one i have been to , involved in or know others who attended have resulted in someones car damaged.

Things i hate most are people walking between cars with chairs, coolers and the most dreaded shade tents that suddenly launch across the lot like a scud missle bent on destruction.

Hope you get it fixed like new.

Probably someone walking by your car with something sharp. Purses are terrible in this regard. I stopped entering my cars in shows long ago due to the fact of some not being careful or respectful. Sorry that happened to you.

i still have the spring from the old shifter but i do not have the top part but im going to use the old shifter.

I just don't get why some Camaros owners do this sh*t. My car was keyed by a local C5 user at Cars & Coffee and I know who did it because my friend saw him do it. And it's probably not a coincidence that two other Camaros have been keyed at C&C as well...so I never go anymore unless a friend can come along to stay with my car which kinda takes the fun out of it.

wth..man...I hate to see this. well I actually think you might be able to simoniz or buff that out with the right compound and body guy. I would suggest that.
