Just learned something...

So... I learned that my v6 2013 1LT camaro has smaller fuel injectors than a 2012 and 2011, they say it has to do with better fuel economy. I don't care about fuel economy! If I make them bigger will it make my v6 go faster? Also can I add bigger camshafts to it? Will it make it sound better to? Thanks in advance!

in b4 shoulda got a v8.

And I do believe you can get a camshaft for your v6, there are also turbochargers and superchargers available for you!

You can change all the stuff you mentioned, but it ain't cheap ... It would probably be cheaper in the long run to go with a 1SS ...

Honestly just be content with the v6, I know I am. I think the majority of us who have v6's have them because the v8 was a little more than we wanted to pay. So if that's the case. Just trade up in a few years

If you don't care about fuel economy and want a faster car... trade up to a SS.

Bigger injectors does not give you more power. Supporting mods that require more fuel will give you more power.

not a camshaft, you'd need to buy 4

as others have said, just get the SS.

Trade up to an SS or put a turbo on it!

When i had my 12' 1LT there was a guy who was just about to start making cam shafts for the LFX motor but it would of been really expensive.

If all you care about is speed and thought about mods, why didn't you go with the SS to begin with?

I kind of want people to say "Oh, its only a v6?!?!" and then on the track I show them whats up, I was kind of shooting for building a ridiculously fast 6 that would blow people away even more than it already does.

I'm content w\ my 2013 V-6. The SS would've resulted in more tickets...
