Anyhow, I have never had another car that deserved valeting. But today I took my children on their 1st day out in the Camaro. They loved it!!!!..... So did I. It was actually easy in and easy out of the back seat for my 5'4 daughter. My 5'6 oldest sat in the front and off we went. I bought the car Thursday night (after 11pm ) and haven't had a good chance to settle in since I work Fridays and Saturdays. I took my car to an empty parking lot and adjusted the seats, mirrors, steering wheel, entertainment center. I also set up the Bluetooth passwords between my phone and the car. This car has everything on my wish list: Amenities and power. The ability to play my Pandora and YouTube playlist via wireless directly into the ships speakers has been a dream of mine..... since watching William Conrad as Cannon in the 70's. (Rockford, the BEST of them all,..... used pay phones!! ) I am right at the 260 mile mark. Some city, some highway . Some rural. Some twisty, some straight. Fast (128 ) and slow. Now that I have the car dialed in... it handled very well. Sightlines are cramped AND SMALL, BUT very WELL DEFINED..... feels like a combo of driving a tank, ( which I have done. ), and driving a formula one car ( never done that. ) My one issue is that the car takes a while to spool up... It's strong thru the power band... VERY smooth once the fire-cracker pops, BUTTTTT: while the fuse is burning there is a noticeable lag in power....waiting for the fuse to burn sucks! it doesn't bring the pain immediately. In my Grand Prix GXP.... torque went STRAIGHT to the asphalt How do I fix that? (My kids and I both miss the neck snapping torque of that GXP.) Anyway... the point is: I saw the valets drive my car and....... it looks amazing. I never knew fully what people saw when my other cars were in motion. I only saw them at rest... cause no one else drove them (lest I was IN the car)..... But I SAW MY Camaro IN MOTION TODAY, at a distance, mid-distance, and up close,....... and it looks AH-MAZING!!! I was STARING The valets ALL complimented the car and all around said Camaro's are a favorite car of theirs. They actually had another Camaro and mine parked close.
