How do I deal with rusty rotors after storage?

My brake rotors are getting more rust than usual during winter storage because we've had some strange weather that has covered the car with condensation several times.

Any suggestions on how to handle it? Is my only option to clean up the mess with iron-x in the spring or can I do something to minimize rust particle deposits on the paint and ppf?

I should have used rust inhibitor... lesson learned!

When mind does it I just drag the brakes slightly while going slow for about 100 yards, then they are clean with no mess. You can hear when they get the rust worn off...
I don't know about using any chemicals on them because it could harm the seals in the calipers.

No orange spots with these covers...
Also the winglets pushes the air true the rear wheels. No brake dust or orange spots on the rear of the car also.
