So can the 2.9 support 800whp, on an 427, 454 or 434 size LS motor on pump gas?

I ask this because I know how much the "crusher" inlet and 160mm monoblade TB helped out the Whipple 3.4L when compare to the stock inlet and TB on the GT500's. +50whp easy

The stock inlet and TB on this camaro package look tiny compared to the crusher and monoblade. I know from experience that you dont want any sort of bottleneck before the supercharger.

Will you be offering larger inlets and or TB?

Thanks

I look forward to the 3.4L or even 4.0L in the future for LS3 apps.
Its made to accept up to a 115mm round TB with just a quick machining op. Oval won't fit without changing the casting to kick the TB to the passenger side. We left fake bolt bosses in the casting so we can machine off the inlet if needed and install a different inlet if required if the 115 proves not enough.

Thanks

Yes, and especially the bigger motors because it requires less boost.

Here's a friend of mine in his 2.9L powered 08' GT500. The car makes 760rwhp blower only. Makes 815rwhp with a 50 or 75 shot. I forget which one it is. That's on a stock 5.4L 4V motor making 21lbs. There's still plenty of room to go. Just imagine a 427 with that much boost.

Do you think the 2.9 could support 21lbs in a 427? It looks to me that the 2.9 maxes out at a little over 1000 crank hp if you look at the CFM it flows, but I'm no expert.

It would be tough to make 21psi on a built/modified 427, for that you need the 4.0L SC.

Where and when can I buy the 4.0L and what heads are they setup for? As long as I dont have to notch the windshield like a 4th gen I'm cool.
