I'm in. Junkie, if you want, you and anyone from the Madison area can drive down and meet me in Beloit and go down to meet the Chicago group going I-90. Toasty, plans are that Stacy will be meeting me to go down as well.

Based on the approximate time you are thinking to leave the Lincoln Oasis of Toasty, those planning to come down 90 from the north in Wisconsin, will need to likely be in the Beloit (WI/IL border) area by around 7 or 8 depending how many pick up points. I will be heading out Thursday morning for the Itasca meet point, as it is the furthest north meet point, but have no problem meeting the Wisco crew on the border as I live in Beloit.
Grrr...I hate tolls. I was just looking ahead, from my location to leaving Il into Indiana that tolls are going $12+. It almost has me tempted to get an iPass, but I just don't use the IL tollroads often enough to seem warranted to get one. With iPass it will cost the the same amount to go and return vs. just one way. Any other Wisconsin peeps using iPass??

Put me down for coming from the North.
I have I-Pass. Hardly use it but its worth having. It doesnt cost anything to get (maybe a deposit) but otherwise you only pay when you use. So if you only use it a few times a year, at least you have it. Especially comes in handy when Camarovanning. |
